Post-booking payment adjustment: allow manual price edits to reflect real service variations
Problem: Trafft currently locks the payment amount to the predefined service price at the time of booking. In many businesses — particularly beauty salons — the final price depends on variables that are only known at the point of service delivery (e.g. hair length, color complexity, added treatments, product usage). This means the revenue recorded in Trafft does not reflect what was actually charged, making financial reporting unreliable.
Request: Allow staff or admins to manually edit the final charged amount on a completed or in-progress appointment, directly from the booking or appointment detail view.
Acceptance criteria (suggested):
The adjusted amount is reflected in revenue reports and exports
An optional note/reason field is available when modifying the price
The original price remains visible alongside the adjusted price (audit trail)
The modification is tied to a permission role (e.g. only admins or staff can do it)
If integrated with a payment processor, the system either flags the discrepancy or supports charging the adjusted amount
Use cases:
Hair salon: client arrives with longer hair than expected — final price is higher
Nail studio: client adds gel top coat during the appointment
Spa: therapist extends a session by 15 min at client's request
