Package booking option#42

S

I want to offer a class pass where people purchase a pass with six classes on it and then they can book their classes with the virtual pass. Not many booking software companies offer this - or they offer it, but don’t integrate with Stripe / Paypal, so set yourself apart from the competition and develop this feature pleaes :)

Oh I need to add here that I want it to be possible to ONLY offer class passes so that people cannot just pay for a one-off class. OVATU software currently allows me to create a class pass but it then cannot remove the option for people to pay for an individual class. So that’s what I really, really want :) It should be possible to just offer class passes - it creates more revenue that way.

I need to be able to either sell packages, or book appointments without services attached.

This is such an important feature - it opens up so many more industries, but for the fitness and beauty industry it’s imperative.

Massively reduces customer churn.

Being able to choose whether you sell a package based on time (eg: 6hrs to use amongst any nominated services) or to sell a package of x number of selected services.

Once Trafft has this, it’s going to set the world on fire

I need the ability to sell multiple session packages, that are billed monthly. Then I need to be able to check out clients using the package and keeping track of how many sessions they have left. The sessions need to never expire. The packages add a discount to the single sessions. Please see the attached example of my current software.

I’m setting up Trafft for my yoga studio (for classes & courses offered in person & online on set dates).

I’m after 3 event features with regards to event/multiple person bookings:

  1. Sell courses (events) running over multiple dates. Example: I offer a 5wk yoga course (1x class per week on Fridays at 10am for 5 weeks). I need to set a capacity limit eg.12 students who can book the course ONCE to attend the 5 set dates for the single course price.

  2. Class (event) pass packs - seeking the ability to sell a ‘ticket bundle’ that can be used to book individual events

  3. Event attendance - the ability to see who has booked each event (including those that run acorss multiple dates) and mark their attendance (present/absent) for each individual date.

PS. I’d be most happy to beta test the events dev and provide feedback + suggestions to the team :)

@Marija Maksimovic the developers have known this is a huge gap in the system for a long time, and based on what they’ve said they don’t really connsider it a priority.

Sadly for those of us that are dependant on these features as per Amelia in order to deploy Trafft as our booking solution…well, we’re at their mercy.

Hi guys! We’re currently uncertain if the process will be identical as for Amelia. While Amelia’s experience is undoubtedly helpful, it doesn’t automatically translate to faster development.

Right now, we’re in the process of gathering all the use cases, and we’re dedicated to devising the best possible solution.

We sincerely appreciate everyone’s contributions! Please continue to send us your suggestions.

Best,
Trafft team

I just need to make sure that when the client purchases the package they can track how many was used and how many sessions left in their package.

Thank you for starting the process of developing the package option and asking for input from your clients! It is very much appreciated!

My use case:

  • name of the package
  • price
  • visibility of the package (public, private, unavailable)
  • expires after x days
  • allow a payment plan or subscription
  • coupons and discounts
  • picture and description of the package
  • selecting how many sessions are included of each service type (just one or multiple). Note: My current system allows me to change this even after a package has been purchased which is a super helpful feature (I use Acuity)
  • my current system generates individual package codes after the purchase and sessions get deducted from that code. This works well as I am currently allowing clients to schedule the included session separately from each other. However, I would not mind requiring clients to schedule all included sessions at the point of booking as well.

Package features I would love:

  • being able to only allow clients to schedule sessions within a defined timeframe: If it is a 6-week package with one 60-minute session per week (6 sessions in total), limit the booking to only show available appointment times for the next six weeks (or however many you want to allow). Available appointments should be shown based on the date of the first session date selected.
  • limit how many sessions a client can book per week: If a program is designed to be six weeks long and 6 sessions are included, only allow them to book one session per week. If it is a 6-week program with 12 sessions, allow a minimum AND maximum of 2 sessions per week. If a package includes multiple services, being able to select that for each service included in the package.
  • being able to create packages with a fixed appointment time (every Monday at 10am for the next 6 weeks). Similar to a class but for a single client and without a specific start date already selected. What I am looking for is basically an option to choose for each package whether the client can select available appointment times based on my calendar availability and the time and day can be flexible or if I want to select the appointment times for a particular package.

Happy to chat if anything needs clarification.

When can we expect the packages?

This would be great! Definitely something very usable and missing from most of the other competition. I would welcome a simple option like buy a pack of three sessions at a reduced price vs buying one at a time. Client can pick when they want to schedule session from calendar within 6 months from original package purchase date. If they book one at a time then have interface show them how many sessions they have left from the package they purchased while they are picking scheduling times.

Any news on this? I am dependent on it, and will probably use other booking software until Packages are available. Even in the simplest form.

Btw: Any suggestions for reasonably priced alternatives that has Packages would be greatly appreciated. I know Bookeo and Acuity has Packages. Simplybook.me too, I think.
